Case study · Product & Engineering Review

Turning a broad release concern into clear priorities.

A software company needed to identify and decide what to address before publicly launching their product.

Goal

Replace the broad question “is this ready?” with concrete decisions about product behaviour, technical foundations, delivery confidence and ownership.

How we worked

I interviewed the team to learn about their concerns and doubts, reviewed the repository and available documentation, linked each finding to evidence and used focused conversations to fill important gaps. Together, we separated immediate concerns from accepted risks, later improvements and questions needing specialist input. Priorities remained the client’s decision.

What changed

The team received a structured review, prioritised actions and a guided walkthrough. Follow-up analysis made the evidence easier to reuse without treating every finding as mandatory work.
